There are so many agents in San Diego....Steve is miles apart from that pack. He is very professional which to me is paramount to me choosing an agent. When we met the second time (which was 24 hours after the first time), you found me in a state of despair as I needed to get a quick hard money loan thanks to my ex-spouse's foreclosure on his property and traditional banks would not refinance with me for another six months when the foreclosure would drop off my credit history. I had been crying of which you commented on and asked me to tell you why. I told you I would lose the house unless I refinanced it in 48 hours. I watched you leap into action calling forth a host of players to include a title rep, an escrow rep, a notary and others who all played an important part in completing this refinance in 24 hours. I understand that all of you worked overnight as well on it so that the next day which was a Friday, you had all the loan documents prepared and I was able to sign on that day. Fast forward to the following Monday of my court hearing, you were so gracious, professional , and kind to show up to my court hearing and even field a barrage of questions from my ex-spouse's attorney who was trying to sabotage all efforts of letting this refinance go through. It is because of all the work of you, my great attorney, Robin Montes, and your eloquent testimony that the Judge ruled in our favor and so I was able to keep my home. Words cannot ever express how much gratitude I have for all of you and for your heroic efforts to perform a miracle that took a total of 24 hours! Even my attorney was new to the case and yet, all of you rallied together beautifully to help me and my children stay in our home. Amazingly, prior to that, we were all strangers to each other. All of you reinforce my belief in the human spirit and that there are wonderful people out there who will help a stranger in a time of need simply because they care.
